Opening update

We have been working very hard during the winter and have made a number of fantastic changes.
All of the site electrics have been upgraded and we now have 16amps on all electric pitches.
The toilet block has been decorated and updated and we also have antibacterial paint on the walls the same as is used in hospitals.
We now have static caravans available. They are 2 bedroom and sleep up to 6. There are more details on the statics page.
We have also installed 4 camping pod’s. More details on the camping pods page Under the Camping pod’s heading where you will find some pictures.
They come with 16 amp electric and internal lights and all bedding, Sheets, pillows and mattresses and sleep up to 4 people. They also have a small private lawn area with your own barbecue. Fridges picnic baskets containing cutlery, crockery and glasses plus water carriers are all available to hire but make sure you book them, we don’t have many!
Also to help the environment we have replaced our old septic tanks with a water treatment plant.

Gold Conservation Award

We are delighted to tell you that Old Barn Touring Park has been selected by Professor David Bellamy to receive a GOLD CONSERVATION AWARD. Granted only to parks which have demonstrated a sound commitment to the natural world. The David Bellamy Award is described by Professor Bellamy as the “Green Olympics” – and go only to parks which help protect and enhance the natural environment. We are particularly proud that his decision to make this award was based partly on the opinions of our holidaymakers. It was their comments about our park which helped to convince Professor Bellamy that Old Barn Touring was deserving of this conservation honour.
